Gorgeous William McKinley dangling metal pin/shield. For you novice political (and pinback) collectors: There were no campaign pinbacks as we know them prior to -1896. The celluloid (basic plastic over metal with printed insert) came about in 1896 and the lithograph - printed/inked over tin came about around 1920. Here is a terrific 1896 (probably) - 1900 (possibly) McKinley campaign item. A tad darker than in person. Shown about actual size. Sharp and in excellent condition. $34.95.
